CARNIVALE: THE BEST PARTY IN TOWN

image.jpg

On Saturday, March 30, we saw months of hard work come to fruition. Billed as "the best party in town", Carnivale is a yearly benefit for the Mental Health Association in Tulsa. Talmadge Powell Creative approached us with a simple directive: utilize our motion graphic/animation ability to make Carnivale the best party of the year in Tulsa.

Mission accepted.

The concept for Carnivale 2013 was based on the progressions of the four seasons, building in a crescendo of energy to a winter dance party. Using 12 high definition projectors on two 70'x20' screens, as well as what can only be described as 20 foot tall mushroom, we created environmental animations that played throughout the evenings. To highlight the changing of the seasons, we partnered with Quixotic Fusion, a performing arts company out of Kansas City, to create four transitions of choreographed dancers interacting with the animated 3D projections.

We will soon have a full caste study showing how we created 3 hours of content, 4 seasons, 4 choreographed dances, 500 gigs of deliverables and over 1 million dollars raised in one night.

LAUNCH LASER: JUST IN TIME FOR SPRING!

With baseball season in full swing we are excited to bring you the commercial created for Launch Laser™, a new visual training aid for baseball and softball hitters that was invented by Justin. The spot was shot using the Red Epic with Burly Studios and Rockhouse Motion. We brought in Alec Walterscheid to run the jib for the overhead shots and used enough fog to create a four-inch thick ceiling in the training facility. To learn more, click HERE.

LOGOLOUNGE: BOOK 8 CALL FOR ENTRIES

We were privileged to team up with Bill Gardner of Gardner Design, co-creator of the famous LogoLounge books, located right here in Wichita, Kansas.

For the 2013 call for entries, Bill asked us to provide animation consistent with the stellar design that LogoLounge represents. Needless to say, we were excited to be a part of a video that has national and international exposure.
